Today I want you to focus and examine the words you are saying to yourself first and then to others. To take this exercise deeper, I want you to also be keenly aware of how you are saying those words.When we talk to others pay close attention to how people are responding to you.I heard a statement, “Conversation Rule the Nation”! In my opinion, the Nation starts with You! Before others engage and believe what you have to say, what you are trying to get accomplished, they need to see if you are engaged and believe in what you are saying yourself and your words play a huge part

Simple Language Tip!

Use language that displays your confidence and conviction when you communicating with yourself and others. Word and statements such as, “I can”, “I will”, “I choose to do”, “I am up for the challenge”, “I’ll give you my word”, “I’m on top of it” and “You can count on me”, are just a few confident statements that can make others engage and feel good about working with you. Think about it for a moment, which person would you rather deal with, someone that says “I will try to”, or  “I may not or I think I may”, etc… These statements do not breed much confidence to our audience.

There is a scripture Proverbs 18:21, that reads, “The tongue has the Power of life and death and those who love it will eat. Learn and take action on what you are saying  to yourself and how you are saying it, then start using the amazing power of words to gain the confidence of others.
