From the NFL to New Found Life – Sharing Our Story!

The other day I got a call from one of my friends that played with the Tampa Bay Bucs asking me and several of the guys to come out to fellowship and if we didn’t mind sharing our story and testimony of the game and how good God has been to all of us.

We all had a great time recalling so many memories of both good and challenging times however the best part was relating how through it all God had and still has a plan for us to do work and give Him the Glory.

One of the big highlights for me was before they introduce you to the crowd, they had the Monday Night Football theme song playing and Wow this got your blood flowing. My saving grace was the fact that I am still in a walking boot recovering from my torn achilles tendon however that song will never get old. I am both humbled and honored to be one of the few people that got an opportunity to play Sports on a Professional level.

Fast forward to 2015 and it’s great to see guys still in good physical and mental health and allowing God to move in their lives and grow them higher spiritually. I am so grateful to have lived this experience, come out a better man and share the lessons I have learned from those “old” playing days.
