My Daughter Challenge Me to a Staring Contest; She Don’t Even Know…

I titled this post, “My Daughter Challenge Me to a Staring Contest; She Don’t Even Know” because if she did, then she may have a better understanding of Why I am hard to beat on our Daddy Daughter staring contests.  She is always challenging me on games and simple stuff and like I told her, “My eyes would have to start bleeding before I let you win.”

What she don’t know is that I remember when she was born 3 months prematurely and while my wife and I was on the outside of the incubator looking in at her, she was inside the incubator fighting for every second of her tender life. As long as we were there in the hospital with her, it was hard to take our eyes off of her because we didn’t want to miss anything that she was doing. Those were some tough days to say the least and now that she is a vibrant, intelligent ten year old, I still find the time to reflect back on those days.

Why  I Win!

So,when we have our staring contest and she thinks it’s a fun game to play, she don’t even know that I’m looking at the little baby that once weighed a “hefty” 1 pound and 7 ounces , fighting for her life in that incubator. We have two different perspectives and and with my Why being a tad more serious than just a game, then it’s simple to see why  it’s hard for her to win during our staring contests. She don’t even know…

Now reflect back on things that means a lot to you and ask yourself; How bad do I want this idea, this business and my dream to be successful? How bad do I want to win? Now develop a stronger reason for you to get started and finish successfully. What is your “Why” for you to win and not give up! Gain a bigger perspective of why you are doing something instead of approaching it with a lackluster or comfortable approach and I can almost guarantee that you will come out more victorious than before.
