I have noticed that people from all over are starting to get the itch to try their hand at making money online and it never fails that the discussion will lead to money; how much money am I making, how much does it cost to get started, on and on. No matter what I tell them the bottom line is that as an online entrepreneur, the sky is the limit when it comes to how much money you can make but keep in mind that there is no floor either. You can lose your shirt and everything that comes with it if you are not doing the right things and treating this business like a business.
One of our valued members on the team asked this question the other day that caused me to think and that question was, “If you had NOTHING – Zero, Zip, Nada, Zilch and starting from scratch – How would I build my business? It was a great question and after some thinking, I gave them one answer and that was Facebook! With Facebook, you can do so much when it comes to free marketing and advertising to not only the people and friends on your wall but also the Facebook groups. Since you are already on Facebook everyday posting random comments and experiences, wouldn’t it be nice to make money from it. Not only Facebook but social media period; ie Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, MySpace, YouTube etc… The beauty about social media is that it doesn’t cost you one red cent to promote and share your product, brand and services.
Another thought I had while mulling over this question was the attitude of someone when they ask about your budget and if they could afford to be in business or not. It seems like they are shooting themselves in the foot before they even attempt to make things happen. As every entrepreneur knows and understands, is that you have to be resourceful and use all of the things around you to capitalize on the opportunity. Let’s look at it from this angle, if you needed to come up with a certain amount of money for your business, you started from the bottom and take inventory of items that you could part with to get the funds. Sell things on ebay, craigslist, whatever it took, right? Instead of looking at what you don’t have, there need to be this attitude of there was something you needed to do to come up with a certain amount of money actually had a different attitude, sell things on ebay, craigslist, whatever it took to come up with money.
So, the now that you know my answer you may not look at Facebook the same and really I hope not because now you can have something useful and productive to say all the while building your business from it too. We also have daily assignments as well as marketing strategies that you can work with your business 3-4 hours a day. Once you start making money from these efforts I suggest that you reinvest 100% of the money you make into paid marketing. This move here will catapult your business to another level quickly!
