Today’s post will be brief as we cover the term, Simplicity, which is the 10th Simple Concept on Becoming a Better Leader by Dave Kerpen. I must admit that simplicity as a leader can be easier said than done. When we share our vision and purpose of the business or project we are creating, keeping things simple is paramount when delegating responsibilities and communication over to others. I like the quote, “Less isn’t more; just enough is more.” by Milton Glaser, and with this in mind, it helps to give just enough so not to overwhelm the person we are communicating with.

Taking complex projects, challenges, and ideas and distilling them to their simplest components allows customers, staff, and other stakeholders to better understand and buy into your vision.
