Sometimes you have to go “Back in Time” to Accomplish Your Dreams Today!
I want you to step back in time with me for a few moments and follow my conversation here.
“Just give me that Shot, allow me to come in and earn that spot… I’m in shape, I’m hungry, last I checked, you need a speed guy with hands that can make things happen…
Get me in their coach! Just 1 workout that’s all I need and all you need to know I’m for real. I wait a few seconds, then I pop the Big Question on them… Ok coach, I can fly out of DFW Airport, what time can you arrange a flight?
Wow… that was the script I used with so much passion and energy during the Summer of 1990, using the Big NFL Football book, calling every NFL Team PR Director, Scout and WR Position Coach, trying to get a workout with them, to earn a spot on the team and follow my dream of becoming a Professional football player!
A few days later, the wait was finally over; that phone call came in from the Atlanta Falcons to sign the contract, arrange a flight to arrive in time for training camp! Oh man,what a feeling, what a great, great feeling. It’s Time, I’m READY… Lights, Camera, ACTION!
Fast Forward almost 24 years later…
Right NOW, Tonight … I’m BIG DREAMING, FEELING INSPIRED for My Purpose and Business and God has been reminding me what he has done before in order for me to realize that he, of course can DO IT AGAIN!
There are so much opportunity in the marketing space that I am in, as well as inspiring others to live a life of valuable service, that I feel like I’m back to that internal place of being hungry, determined and wanting that spot on the team again.
Now, instead of making a ton of calls by phone, I’m using today’s technology with my laptop, smartphone and click of the mouse to communicate with people all over the world about adding me to their team to show them ways to leverage their time and work to enjoy a lifestyle of abundance.
Sometimes you have to Go Back in Time for Your Dreams …
