Young Leaders With Action!
Keep your eyes peeled for these young leaders, (Calvin Henson, Kevin Lee, Matthew Stell and Braxton Robinson) at their prospective universities – (Prairie View, Paul Quinn, University of Houston and SFA). I know these young men parents or I have recognize them from afar for making an impact with their attitude and service both on and off campus.
During the break, I was led to start a mastermind networking session (think tank) with these 4 young men (leaders) to get them together and share ideas, thoughts and opportunities with each other. These guys are Student Body Presidents, Fundraising Chairs, Debate Team leaders, Business Fraternity leaders as well as strong young men with their families and communities. Even though they attend different schools, it’s always a good thing to grow your network and learn from each other.
Since the holiday break is almost over and the Spring Semester is here, I Salute you young men and other students on your journey to higher learning, to finding your purpose and ultimately serving in it. Let’s keep this thing going throughout the year and I will be available by video chat, lunch or phone.
I challenge each of you leaders to connect and stay connected with ideas and strategies that will lift the standards of those organizations and activities under your watch. I am asking my facebook family to join with me to send a prayer of protection, guidance, peace and blessings to you as well as all of the students making their way back school and for a successful spring semester.
