Wow! It was very humbling to see my heartfelt words shared in the local newspaper, back in my hometown of Tyler, Texas for all of my Tyler Peeps to see.
Over the many years in Tyler, specifically the High School known as John Tyler Lions, many of the athletes that played football, including Earl Campbell aka “The Tyler Rose”, would practice on a field known to a few as “The Pit”, to some as “Death Valley”, to many others as “The Dungeon and all would agree that all of these nicknames apply to the practice field better known as the Legendary Bottom Field.
