Tackle Reading and Win the Game!
Today was a great day to team up with elementary schools, Kathryn Starke (Organizer) and the NFL Alumni for its 4th annual Tackle Reading Across America Day, to promote a love for literacy with a passion for football.
Thanks to my SFA Lumberjack Alum and friend Shlonda Tolbert (teacher)and school (J.P. Starks Math, Science and Technology Vanguard) for allowing me to be the guest for the day with her class.
We enjoyed a great time of reading books, role playing different activities and asking and answering a ton of questions.
