I once heard a story of a young man talking with his dad about a test he took at school. His dad asked him how he did and the son said, “Dad, I think I flunked my test this morning.” His dad mentioned to him, “No son, don’t think like that, you have to think positive.” His son then came back and said, “Well dad, I’m positive I that I flunked my test this morning”! Too funny right?
Now think for a moment about yourself and how would you describe yourself, as a “glass half empty” or a “glass half full” kind of person? Do you look for the silver lining in a bad situation?Or do you focus on the negative?
Often, when people are struggling, yet taking the same action steps as others, it comes down to one important thing – HAVING A POSITIVE MINDSET! Your positive mindset or negative one will control your destiny, whether you believe it or not.
You must see yourself as being successful and achieving what you set out to accomplish on your journey from day one. Even before you have received your first products, made your first sale or sponsored anyone into your business, vision and belied precedes success.
Think about Actors, Professional Athletes and Olympians, when you hear them being interviewed and you often hear them say, “I’ve dreamed about this since I was 6 years old and so on. Success starts first in your mind, and then spreads its wings out to every area of your life. Keep a positive mindset and know that great things are in store for you!
