The Right Environment Changes Everything!
Did you know that you may be fighting a losing battle before it even starts?
Interesting, on a recent conference call I heard such an insightful story from Chris Robinson that I thought I’d share with you. Imagine this if you will, two vicious beasts, a Bear and an Alligator getting ready for battle. Which one do you think will win; the Bear or the Alligator?
I know a few of you will side with the bear right? Well it depends… depends on what you ask? It depends on the environment! If the battle was to take place in the wilderness, sure the bear has a great chance to win however if the battle was to happen in the water, then the odds are in favor of the alligator to win.
Yes, I know the bear can swim and all however let’s not get too technical about it, the water is the alligator’s main environment and it has a better chance to win here than it do in the wilderness wouldn’t you agree.
What About Me?
Now take a look at your life and ask yourself, “Are you in the right environment to work and have success?” Are you in the right environment to grow and live on purpose? If the answer is no or sometimes, then what are you waiting on?
Just like the vicious battle between the bear and the alligator, it doesn’t take long to get pummeled and swallowed up before you lose the fight. Your life and destiny can all come down to the environment you are in and if you happen to be stuck in that space for awhile, do your best to surround yourself with positive people to assist you in overcoming this place.
