I just finished reading my first book in 2021 titled, Atomic Habits by James Clear and it’s a must read to get your new year off to a great start. I recommend you to add this book to your collection and take advantage of the nuggets that the author left for us to use.

Below are a few Take-aways!

A habit is a routine or behavior that is performed regularly and in most cases automatically.

Habits are compound interest of self improvement.

The quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits.

Habits do not restrict freedom, they create it.

4 Laws of Habit Construction or Destruction

1st Law – Good habit – Make it Obvious

Bad habit – Make it Invisible

2nd Law – Good habit – Make it Attractive

Bad Habit – Make it Unattractive

3rd Law – Good habit – Make it Easy

Bad Habit – Make it Difficult

4th Law – Good habit – Make it Satisfying

Bad habit – Make it Unsatisfying

Temptation Bundling – linking an action you want to do with an action you need to do!

Forget about Goals Focus on Systems Instead!

Goals are about the results you want to achieve. Systems are about the processes that lead to those results.

You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems.

We imitate the habits of 3 groups in particular –

The Close – new habits seem achievable when you see others doing them everyday.

The Many – there is tremendous internal pressure to comply with the norms of the group.

The Powerful – we want to be acknowledged, recognized and praised.

Atomic Habits is a great read and study… now it’s time to take action and implement those ideas!

What Happen to those Glory Days?

Wow, here I am at 3am working on an animation project using digital avatars and cartoons and in my research, I came across something that totally caught me by surprise.

There was this football gaming project being designed on a well known gaming platform and the designer was using a few selected guys from both the NFL and World League of American Football back in 1992 and I was included in it. To see myself as a digital avatar for the very first time with a platform that I have never seen, heard or known about until now, was mind blowing to say the least.

I reviewed all of the other athletes I knew and made sure to snap their photo up and share with them as well. We were all blessed to play a game that we loved from childhood and it was so cool to see a few of our avatars being displayed on this project. However, I couldn’t help but wonder what the avatars of these guys would look like almost 30 years later in the current role that they play in life with their homes, jobs and communities they play a part in today.

After the final countdown on the clock to display that the game is over, we have guys that have found another purpose to use their talents on to make impact and influence in other fields of endeavor. We also have droves of athletes that are still trying to find their way long after the final game was played.

They find it all too comfortable to sit the next play of life out and stay on the proverbial sidelines watching their time and talents wander away. If you know someone in this category, please direct them to this post and resource guide for former athletes, that can assist them in uncovering some hidden talents to utilize on a completely different field in a completely different game.

Over the past 10 years, I have had the chance to learn and earn from an online business model that has allowed me to use my talents and build something that can afford me both time and financial opportunities to explore.

Being away from your family is what makes business travel so rough.

Having the capability to setup a video call is essential when you are on the road and away from your family. I normally use skype video teleconferencing with all of my video calls however lately I’ve been using this new platform call Zoom. This video platform enables me to talk and see more than one person side by side and/or even having a plain phone call without the video. You can set aside a particular time for the video stay or cutoff.

My little girl has a way of taking the video call away from both her mother and her sister and telling me all that is happening at home, lol!She likes to ask me endless questions about why I have to be away for any period of time and stay in a hotel room by myself. I always tell her to be a good girl for Mommy and Daddy will be home soon. I am away because Daddy and Mommy are simply laying the groundwork for better days and opportunities for you and your sister.

Making Money Online is a Good Idea!

I want to thank the person(s) that came up with the idea of making money online because over the past 8 years it has afforded me a way to give presentations, work with athletes and teams and still earn an income anywhere there is a wifi connection. Not only is this a good idea it is a great idea and I am extremely grateful for this oportunity.

When I get calls from friends or meet total strangers, I ask them if they have any online presence and if they are interested in parlaying that presence into some passive income. Even if you have a job, you still could create another income stream, that can eventually grow into something greater than what your current job is paying you and enhance your lifestyle with more time freedom.

The work doesn’t require you to lift heavy objects, travel long distances, create a product or call a ton of people. All you have to do is find a wifi connection, turn your computer or mobile device on and find the right system to follow for simple training and take action! I heard this phrase and it proved true for me and that was, “If you can make one dollar online, then the sky is the limit with your income.

Most people get into this digital ecommerce industry thinking the work will be easy. It’s not easy work because you have to work your business however it’s super simple work. Once you get it down and start making a few dollars then you will understand how to scale your business to make even more money and it doesn’t take that long either. Before you know it, you are trying to figure out what to do with not only the income but the time freedom. Time freedom was and still is a Big motivation for me being in this online marketing industry and I am sharing it with all that want a part of it.

C’mon Amazon, it’s the start of a new month and this is how you show up? What I’m noticing is that you are working a little in the morning and a little in the evening but we need you grinding every hour.

I demoted eBay a few months ago however if you keep this up, eBay is willing to get his old position back.

Lol, I’m having a little fun with this e-commerce business today and giving Amazon a hard time. I’ve been selling on both Amazon and eBAY for a few years now and these platforms have been a solid income stream in my online business portfolio and it can be one for your business as well.
