Connect With Your People

Hello my friends, I recently wrote an article in Ezine Articles about needing physical human interaction in an online world. I must admit that developing online strategies for my business and my team, has been a tremendous blessing in the form of time freedom and creating financial leverage for my family and I. Having a career in sales, working with clients and developing a strong team, the most important key is to connect and build our relationships with people. I could write for days regarding this topic however I will let you listen in on my interview with Robin Williams, a noted leader in the Internet/MLM Marketing industry, as she share her thoughts on this subject. Please share your comments and go connect with more people.

I found an interesting article in my daily reading over the weekend that really inspired me to take more massive action in my business. The article, “Difference Makers – Top 100 Places to Work 2010” in the Dallas Morning News, offered a glimpse into the CEO’s perspective by asking them three questions. Number 1 – What their staff wanted from them as CEO’s? Number 2 - If they had a do-over what would it be? Number 3 - What failure did they see from their past boss. The question and answers that really got my attention was, “If they got a do-over for the last year, what would it be?”

I chose to focus on this part of the article because in some form or fashion, there are some things in life and in business, we may not have any regrets however we all would like to redo or make some adjustments on something. In this particular article 18 out of 42 CEO’s stated that they would have been more aggressive in their business. Whether through hiring more staff, diving into more markets or investing more in technology and marketing, in hindsight they understood that by being more optimistic and taking more risks they would have positioned their company in a far better position to advance.

These answers were very inspiring for me to know that even in a down market, there are leaders who instead of thinking about slowing down and maintaining the status quo, are actually ramping up and plowing forward for their company to do bigger things. Oh yes there are still some leaders out here that are driving their companies right out of business with bad decision making, minimal communication and flat out greed, however that is another post. Thanks Cheryl for this great read and a big thanks to the CEO’s that has inspired me and hopefully you too to go out and take the initiative and grab the bull by the horns and take our vision, ideas and projects to another level. Please share your comments and experiences.

Take Massive Action!

Hello my friends,
I was both humbled and honored to have David E. DeMarco, a three time Emmy Award Winning Editor from the Philadelphia area, interview me at an Internet Marketers conference. We are part of the same team and over the course of the weekend at this conference, the phrase, “Take Action” was overwhelmingly the phrase of the day, as we heard this and so much more from all in attendance.

We can become bombarded with so much information and training that we can get overwhelmed with it all and not apply it to our business. Many times we slow our progress by trying to develop a perfect plan when there is no such thing as having a perfect plan. Get to it already; write some articles, record some videos, make some phone calls and put your talent out to the marketplace. Remember the quote from General George S. Patton Jr.; “A good plan implemented today is better than a perfect plan implemented tomorrow.” Take Massive Action! Please share your comments and thoughts,

Believe, Decide, then Do It!

Do you have an idea, a job or task that you believe in? Have you gotten fed up with the status quo and just plain tired of being sick and tired? If you were in the room with 10 people including yourself and the other 9 stated their doubts and even went so far to say that you are foolish to try your hand with that endeavor. Would your belief sink and you cower to their statements or would you allow their doubts to fuel your belief even more? In this post and video, please take some time to get your own understanding of what the title means to you and where you are in your belief and decision making about your life’s plan.

With your idea or opportunity, you may already have the tools, training and business plans in place, all you need to do now is make the decision and apply them; Go to Work! A brief story of 5 frogs sitting on a log over a pond. When 4 of the 5 frogs decided to jump into the pond, how many frogs are still sitting on the log? If you said there are 5 frogs sitting on the log, you are correct! Just because you decide to do something doesn’t mean that you actually did it. Enjoy this video with Duane Cruickshank, which may cause you to laugh a little, however I want it to get you to believe more, make a decision and go Make it HAPPEN!!!
