Be Around the Players to Develop your Skills

I remember playing football as a free agent during rookie camp, hustling all over the field trying to do the right thing and make the great play to catch the coaches eye. However at the start of the real training camp when the entire team came together, the veterans and “big name” guys were making the plays seem effortless and just playing at a faster speed. The hustle plays I made a week before seem hard to remember because you could quickly see that these guys were just on another level with their game.

No time for self pity in the NFL or any Professional sport for that matter. You can either buy a ticket and watch from the stands or remember that you are a player too and learn how they are doing it and do it Quickly! It is time to develop your skills!

The same can be said and applied in business. A recent Internet Marketers conference in Las Vegas was eerily similar to the above sporting experience I shared earlier. There were plenty of veterans and big names on stage and in attendance that discussed marketing strategies and ideas, that were just flat out on another level! In Business – Sales Relationships are the Key!

I have enjoyed the pleasure of being in the sales industry my entire adult life. As I look back and review the success of those deals and accomplishments, they all stem from having good sales relationships with my clients, team members and business partners. The trust, patience, knowledge and understanding of all parties involved is what allows the sale to develop and be maintained throughout the years.

This brief video was recorded at the recent MLSP “Live the Dream” event in Las Vegas and out of all the tips and “gold nuggets” shared on and off stage, at the end of the day in my very humble opinion, it’s all about developing the relationships with each other not only in sales but also in the game I am thankful we wake up to called LIFE. Survival – Motivation for Success!

SURVIVAL – One definition of survival states to continue longer than an adversary to attain life or victory.  This entertaining video regarding The Essence of Survival was cut early one morning doing what I love to do, which is working out, and I was inspired to develop the content from a poster (author unknown) that I have in my office. Whatever endeavor you are working on, take this survival mentality as motivation for success and apply it to your endeavors. In this 1099 world of entrepreneurship, we all need and value a community of like minded individuals who encourage and support one another during the great times and not so great or should I say “character building” times. Brian Fanale uses this word “community” to describe what MLSP and the “Live the Dream” event was all about.

In the internet world there are so many avenues and strategies for income and success with pay per click, article and blog writing, video and audio recording, affiliate and social media, offline meetings and networking and so on. All of these channels can get quite overwhelming when you are bombarded with tons of information on the internet about product launches and conference calls on how to grow your business 100% in 30 days, etc… Focus is the name of the game and in my interview with Winnielee Chuus, she tells us of one key strategy that can get move our business in the right direction the right way.
